Deputy Speaker implicated in murder

Embu - Embu Deputy Speaker, Ibrahim Swaleh may be in trouble after he was allegedly implicated in a conspiracy to murder a local businessman.
The deputy speaker’s name emerged in an on-going murder trail where a mother and her son are charged before an Embu court with conspiracy to commit murder.
The two, Alice Giariku and her son, John Mburu Mwenda were charged that on March 4 they conspired to murder businessman Morris Nyaga.

Nyaga is reportedly eyeing a local political seat, and reported threats to his life to the police leading to the arrest and prosecution of the two.
But the deputy speaker has denied being entangled in any conspiracy to murder anybody, saying he is not aware that police are searching for him.
