Mombasa - A German national alleged to have fathered a child with a Kenyan lady has agreed to undertake the DNA as ordered by a Mombasa law court.
Andreas Knobel is alleged to have fathered a child with a lady in Mombasa before travelling back to Germany and was directed to undergo the DNA by the court after it was alleged he had denied fathering the child.
In children court, sitting in Tononoka Mombasa county lawyer Lucy Momanyi representing Knobel agreed to the court orders where Knobel will submit DNA samples before February 27 when the case will be heard.
“My client will not be able travel to Mombasa following the insecurity reasons experienced in Mombasa and he is willing and able to comply with the court to have a DNA test in Nairobi”,said Momanyi.
Resident magistrate Betty Koech ordered Knobel to submit his passport and not to travel out of the country until the DNA samples are confirmed and case is heard and determined.
