DJ Kim offers relationship advice
16 July 2014, 16:06
Nairobi - For those of you who have not heard of him before, the
African Prince, who also goes by the name of Dj Kim in the party scene, is one
of the biggest names in the music industry, working in the background to make
things better for artists.
His legal name is Thiru Mungai, and is currently
the Operations manager at the biggest online music distribution platforms in
Africa Mdundo.com. He also moonlights as a comedian, and is known well across
the country for his style, energy and hunger to want to make the Kenyan music
industry the biggest in Africa.
He has just recently launched an online talk show aimed at
the youth in Nairobi, talking mainly about relationships. The main question he
asked in the last episode is a controversial one in the form of “What happened
to the days when nice guys…” the show features guests in every episode, and in
the latest one, he features Bryan Chege, who helps us understand where all the
nice guys went to.
Their discussion leads them to the conclusion that most of
the good guys have been turned into bad guys because of the pressure from
women. Women are taught to look for nice guys who focus on them, but they
always end up with the less affectionate ones.
