DHL Express eyes Kenya as key hub in regional growth plan

Nairobi - Express and logistics company, DHL Express has considered Kenya as its key region for growth within Sub- Saharan Africa.
Managing Director DHL Express Sub-Saharan Africa, Charles Brewer said the Kenyan GDP growth of around 6.9 percent gives them confidence in the country's performance.
"We see SMEs as the engine for growth in Kenya and SSA as a whole, therefore providing easy access to the global market is key for us," he said.
He said they are embarking on an SSA wide SME training program to enable businesses to expand internationally.
Country Manager for Kenya, Alan Cassels said they are well positioned to service the growth of Kenya ensuring its viability and attractiveness on a global scale.
