Nakuru - Nakuru County Senior Park Warden Adan Kala on Thursday morning said that this year’s cycle with rhino will be held on September 21 at Lake Nakuru.
He added that all proceedings will be used to set up an electric fence around the park to reduce human wildlife conflict.
“This money will help us reduce the frequent problems we have been having with animals that escape from the park,” he said.
Kala further noted that cyclist will be covering 140 kilometers around the park during the race.

He observed that this year’s event has received an overwhelming number of sponsors compared to last year’s event.
“We are very grateful to see we have a huge number of sponsors who have pledged to work with us this year,” he said.
The Senior Warden was also quick to note that the KWS rangers will continue fighting poachers in all the parks in Rift Valley.
