Cut those opposed to NYS with pangas, Kuria says

07 July 2015, 13:43 Victor Tinto

Nairobi - Chop down those opposing NYS with pangas, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has told youth.

The MP has been recorded on a video placed on Social Media site Facebook where he is seen telling youth to use pangas (machetes) to attack those who are against the National Youth Service NYS.

Speaking in a mixture of Swahili and Kikuyu, Kuria tells the youth to not just use the machetes to cut grass but also to chop down those against the NYS and Devolution CS Anne Waiguru.

This follows calls by the opposition to have Waiguru censured for apparent misappropriation of funds at the NYS.

The Central Bank flagged a suspected loss of KES 826 million last month at the NYS, something which Waiguru says she was not a part of.

Kuria though sees the calls as a personal vendetta against Waiguru.

" You know that the panga (machete) does not only have one use. You can use it to cut down grass and also against those seeking the death of the NYS," he says.

The video has been placed on Facebook by blogger Robert Alai Onyango.

Kuria has been censured on several occasions over hate speech and the latest attempt at the same will be met with derision from Kenyans who attacked his latest statement through social media.
