Mombasa - A Mombasa court has extended warrant of arrest issued against Samantha Louise Lewthwaite alias Natalia Webb and her accomplice, Habib Saleh alias Abu Osman.
State prosecutor, Nicholas Gitonga informed the court that he was not in position to inform the court of current status of the case following the issues of an international warrant of arrest against the two who are still at large.
Gitonga said the two have warrants both locally and internationally and he needs more time to avail information to the court from the international detectives who had issued the warrant.
He said the court had earlier issued similar direction in the case pending the arrival of the information from international detectives.
Samantha and Habib Saleh are wanted by Kenyan authorities for terror related charges.
It is alleged that on December 20 in Kisauni constituency within Mombasa County, they were found in possession of explosive materials namely acetone chemicals, hydrogen peroxide chemical, half a kilo of ammonium nitrite, an electric switch and lead nitrate chemicals.

Samantha is an international fugitive linked to a British terror suspect Germaine Grant, who is currently being held at Shimo la Tewa prison facing terror related charges.
Authorities have also linked Samantha to the 2013 Westgate siege that left over 138 people dead in Nairobi.
Reports had indicated that Samantha was hiding in Somalia with the Al Shabaab fighters, but it later emerged that she was fighting for the ISIS.
Resident magistrate Julius Nange’a directed that the prosecution provide the court with information for further direction.
The case will be mentioned on September 3, 2015.
