Nairobi - When it first made its way onto the Kenyan scene, The
Daylight Festival caused a bit of a stir due to what people described as its
raunchy nature. A video was released on You Tube showing hundreds of young
Kenyan ladies and gentlemen dressed skimpily, dancing to house music and having
a good time, causing the initial uproar.
It has however over the passing years
gained quite a bit of traction among the fun loving Kenyan youth and has become
one of the biggest annual events to attend.
This year will be no exception with some of the hottest acts
from the industry coming out to play some of the best of dance music. It goes
down at the Splash Waterworld Saturday from 11am to
8pm and will feature acts like Dj Chucky, DjKace, Dj Lee, Lil Felly and Rash
the Band among many others.
going for KES 500 at the entrance, with the turnout expected to be nothing but
spectacular. Check out how last year’s event went down by clicking here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ooa-pp2sCU
