Nyeri - A 52-year-old Nyeri civil servant who had been carjacked by suspected robbers Wednesday night has been found dead at Hohwe dam along Nyeri-Karatina road.
George Gikonyo, who worked at the Ministry of Energy, had just left a pub in Nyeri town when he was carjacked by three men, police said.

“Since the car was being tracked by police, signals were sent everywhere as it was headed towards Nairobi.
"Police tried to flag down the over-speeding black Toyota Harrier car but it did not stop; the occupants were apprehended in Ruiru, over 100 kilometres away,” said Rotich.
He said the car has been recovered and the three suspects arrested and detained at Ruiru police station pending investigations.
He added that the suspects revealed where they had dumped the body after interrogations.
The body was moved to Nyeri Referral Hospital mortuary even as Rotich said the suspects will be arraigned in court soon.
