A Presbyterian Church in Nyeri is counting losses after thugs invaded the facility on Tuesday night and left with valuable items.
They stole plasma screens, a video camera and other electronic machines used in the church all valued to be worth over KES 1 Million.
The church chairman Ngunyi Nderitu said the thugs later destroyed the equipment they were not able to carry.
Their night guard said he was also robbed off his mobile phone and cash before tying him with a rope in order to commit the offense.
He said they have reported the ordeal to police and investigations have been launched in order to bring the culprits to book.
