Chief Justice officially opens Gatundu Law Courts

Kiambu - Chief Justice Willy Mutunga kicked off his visit to courts by opening the New Gatundu Chief Magistrate Court in Kiambu County.
The CJ was accompanied by the county’s governor William Kabogo who said the court will assist to clear the backlog of cases and fasten judicial proceedings in the county.
According to Kabogo, the county government has donated KES 1 million which will be used to buy equipment for the court.
“We will also work closely with the Judiciary to set up a high court in Kiambu County which will fasten the judicial processes in the county,” Kabogo said.
The CJ will be visiting courts in various counties this week to open courts that will ensure that citizens can easily have access to justice.
