18 January 2013, 11:32
Chaos erupted at Mama Ngina polling station in Nakuru town after a group of rowdy youths stormed out of the URP nominations claiming malpractice was taking place.
Problems started when one TNA candidate was defeated mere by virtue of delay in TNA nominations.
The rowdy crowd started chanting and singing at the polling station demanding that the entire nomination process be repeated.
Youths who spoke with the media said they wanted the exercise called off claiming that some of the voters had been imported from another constituency.
Police had to come and cool the escalating situation at the polling station.
