Central MPs pledge to support Ruto's presidential bid in 2022

Nyeri - A group of Members of Parliament from Central Kenya region have vowed to support Deputy President, William Ruto in 2022 presidential elections.
The MPs said Ruto was the most qualified person to lead the country after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s term in State House.
They unanimously vowed to campaign for Ruto’s Presidential bid saying that majority of Kenyans will support his candidature.
The lawmakers further ruled out reports that there was a rift and disquiet within the newly formed Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP).

JAP cropped up after the merger of President Uhuru Kenyatta's The National Alliance (TNA) party and Ruto’s United Republic Party (URP).
The leaders further lashed out at media reports that there were misunderstandings rocking JAP.
The politicians were speaking over the weekend in Nyeri County during the inauguration of Mukurwe-ini Technical Training Institute which was graced by the Deputy President.
