30 August 2012, 13:53
A case in which over 150 residents of Molo district have sued the Molo constituency development fund committee over alleged bias in allocation of CDF funds failed to kick off at the Nakuru High Court due to absence of the presiding judge.
The case was to be presided over by justice Anyara Emukule who was out on official duty.
The case is however expected to kick off tomorrow.
In the suit, Molo town council Chairman cllr. Michael Wang'ombe and 150 others have been named as plaintiffs .
Through Ng'eno and company advocates, the plaintiffs are also seeking to have the committee compelled to complete stalled projects initiated by former Molo Mp Macharia Mukiri.
For the last few months, residents of Molo district have been accusing the committee under the patronage of the incumbent Mp Joseph Kiuna of allocating a huge share of development funds to projects in Njoro district.
