Politicians are in the last minute rush of vote-hunting mission as the Saturday deadline for the campaigns lurks.
In Nyandarua and Laikipia Counties, the gubernatorial canditates - Daniel Waithaka (Nyandarua), Peter Gathimba (Nyandarua) and their Laikipia Counterparts Mwangi Kiunjuri, Ndiritu Mureithi, Joshua Irungu and Mburu Kamau have intensified their campaigns in their respective counties.
Most of the aspirants have hired trucks and vehicles for their campaigns and deafening public address systems.
The candidates are however spreading peace messages in their Political rallies and according to Daniel Waithaka, peace is a paramount factor towards the development of the country.
Addressing the media in Nyahururu town, Waithaka said that the county was one of the most peaceful during the previous post election violence that hit most parts of the country and the residents were the ones accommodating those who were displaced from their homes.
He urged Kenyans to come out in large numbers during the March 4 elections to exercise their democratic rights.
He expressed faith that the IEBC will conduct a free and fair general elections, urging Kenyans not to panic but instead avoid tension during the process and even after the elections are completed.
