He urged voters to turn up in large numbers and support his return to the senate.
Musikari Kombo of the Amani coalition and New Ford Kenya, on the other hand asked voters to show his nemesis Wetangula his rightful place which is in the opposition.
He said that the only way there would be development in Bungoma is if there is a governor and senator that are willing to work with the central government.
Independent candidate David Makali shot down Kombo and Wetangula saying they had served in government previously without delivering.
He urged Bungoma residents to give a chance to new faces to do the job.
The three patrolled large sectors of the county, all urging strong voter turnout.
