Nairobi - National Assembly Majority Leader, Aden Duale has hit at the opposition saying it thrives on rumours and propaganda.
Speaking in Nairobi Tuesday, Duale maintained that Kenya did not sign a sugar deal with Uganda, and that claims by Cord are mere politics.
“Cord is playing politics with this matter to win votes in western Kenya come 2017. They are worried by what the Jubilee government is doing to revive the sugar industry in this country,” Duale said.

He urged the opposition to stay away from politics of rhetoric and propaganda, and instead focus on real issues.
“2017 elections will be between those who just talk and those who deliver on the promises they make to Kenyans,” Duale said.
However, ODM Chairman differed with Duale saying that the government was creating sideshows to keep the details of the sugar deal with Uganda a secret.
