CORD ready to impeach Rotich over economic turmoil

Nairobi - The CORD coalition will readily impeach Treasury CS Henry Rotich for ruining the country's economy.
The CS has admitted that the country is in an economic fix and says that he and others are trying their best to ensure it is just a short term story.
But opposition leaders, tired of wrong fiscal policies and the unending spiral of negativity feel that it is time for change.
ODM chairman and Suba MP John Mbadi says that it is time questions were asked of Rotich's position.
" He has overseen one of the worst periods of the country's economic life and thus offers nothing useful to the nation and must leave," Mbadi said.
Rotich has previously stated that he has answers to the economic turbulence but needs time to sort it out.
" We need time. Yes, it is a tight situation but time is all that is needed," he stated in Parliament last week.
Also called into question is the KES 250 billion Eurobond which has by many accounts been mismanaged by the government, of which Rotich is a part.
