CORD planning to use Okoa Kenya to cause mayhem

29 April 2015, 09:21 Jackson Okata

Nakuru - Nakuru town east Member of Parliament, David Gikaria claims that the CORD coalition and its top leadership are planning to use the Okoa Kenya campaigns to cause chaos and mayhem in the country.

Gikaria said that CORD has coiled a well coordinated strategy to cause havoc in the country by inciting communities against each other.

Speaking Tuesday afternoon in Nakuru town, Gikaria said that CORD leader, Raila Odinga is planning to use chaos and ethnic fighting as a way of discrediting the Jubilee government and its leadership.

"The Okoa Kenya thing is not about saving Kenya but is aimed at causing havoc and sending this country into ethnic fighting. CORD has realized that it has no other way of getting into power and that is why they want to use referendum campaigns as a way of  causing confusion in the country," said Gikaria.

Gikaria called on the government to be alert and not to give the coalition any space and time to create unnecessary tension in the country.

"The President must not allow a few selfish people to cause bloodshed in this country. He needs to act hard on anyone who thinks they can do anything and just get away with it," he said.

He urged Kenyans not to fall for Raila's tricks of supporting a referendum that will divide the nation.
