Businessman Kirubi to be knighted by France

Nairobi - Businessman Chris Kirubi will be recognized by the French government for his work with Kenyan youth.
Kirubi will receive a Legion of Honour award Friday which is the highest decoration bestowed upon persons in France. It is also described as a Chevalier.
Kirubi will receive the award Friday by the French ambassador to Kenya Remi Maréchaux.
Kirubi is a board member of the Alliance Française in Nairobi and will be recognized for his efforts at building the economic and cultural rappore between Kenya and
" He specifically has a big heart for young people and believes that they must be provided with real and inspirational examples," the French Embassy said in a statement.
Kirubi is among owners of investment group Centum and he also owns the Capital FM Radio Station and Media group.
