Bus collides with matatu, passengers unhurt

Vihiga - Several passengers were unhurt when a bus collided with a matatu along Kisumu-Kakamega road.
The driver of the matatu and another passenger in the bus were the only casualties and were rushed to hospital.
The bus was ferrying crusaders who were coming from David Owour’s end of year crusade at Bukhungu stadium.
Vihiga police boss, Alfred Angengo, said all the other travelers were unhurt.
He said that the initial investigations indicated that either both or one of the drivers was speeding and lost control.
"We are still looking into the incident but our initial investigations reveal that one of the drivers lost control," he said.
Road carnage has been rampant on the roads in the last year, with thousands having already lost their lives, and many others deformed.
