Bomet Governor Issac Ruto's daughter dies

Nairobi - Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto's family is in mourning after the death of his daughter Emmy.
The family announced Friday that Ruto's daughter, full names Emmy Chepng'etich Ruto passed on Friday morning at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi after a shirt ailment which sources said was leukemia.
" We would like to announce the sad and untimely passing of our daughter Emmy," the family said in a statement.
" Until her untimely death, Emmy was an electrical engineer with Geothermal Development Company, Nakuru. She was also the captain of the Kenya National Women’s Cricket Team".

Emmy became team captain in 2008 and has represented the country in two world cup qualifiers; 2010 in Nairobi and in Dar es Salaam in 2012.
No comment was as yet registered from the Bomet Governor on Emmy's death.
CORD leader Raila Odinga as well as other leaders offered their condolences to Ruto and his family at this time of mourning, saying the death was a huge loss not just to their friend but Kenya as a whole.
