The premise to compare a country and a region is to avoid conflict from readers who believe I have a grudge against a certain East African country that is actually responsibly for dragging the pecuniary standards of the East African artists, but as I wish to avoid hate speech and focus on the matter I shall generalize the financial disposition of East African Artists, even though the truth is known as to where the lazy and poorly paid artists reside in East Africa.
Nigerian artists are both rich and wealthy because they possess the right motive and a media that promotes them, showcasing them to the rest of the world. Whoever told you that money is not the only motive lied to you, money is everything in every industry…even the philanthropic ones.
Money perpetuates existence and rewards persistence something that has propelled Nigerian artists beyond their borders and beyond the continent.
