Many shall chastise me for stating this but I stand firm when I promulgate that divorce, despite it being ‘unAfrican’… is not a curse word.
If two people are not getting along, which happens after the sex goes bad because women refuse to give up until they are married, then they should not try make it work, they should go their own separate ways because marriage is a union, not a flipping prison sentence without parole…you have an escape route and freedom to change your mind. Many argue that the impetus to try work things out is influenced by the social stigma attached by divorce, family pressure and children…this is all bollocks because ones decisions are never influenced by culture or relatives,those are excuses for self pity and misery.
The man proposes to you…the man marries you and you still carp about his female friends?
