Nakuru - The County Government of Nakuru has ordered the controversial Ganesh Eco Solutions which is situated in Nyamathi, Naivasha sub-county to suspend all its operations.
The battery assembly plant was asked to ensure that it repairs the factory before continuing with its operations.
Speaking to Journalists Wednesday at his office in Nakuru town, Samuel King'ori, the Nakuru County Public Health officer said that the factory will remain closed until it meets all the set rules and regulations.
"As one of the requirements for the safety of its workers, the company has failed to provide a solid waste treatment plant and also protective gears and equipment for all its workers. The factory also lacks a water source and signboard showing details of the factory. These are some of the key reasons that have made us to shut down the factory,” said King'ori.
