Bamburi sponsors the AAK Architects Chapter Golf Tournament

Nairobi - Bamburi Cement Ltd Thursday announced a KES 300,000 sponsorship package for the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) Architects Chapter Golf Tournament scheduled to kick off on 25th April 2014 at the Karen Country Club.
The amount will be used to cover the cost of the overall organizing the tournament including its publicity, branding, activations, promotions and amateur prizes.
"Today, we have renewed our support to professional to Architect Chapter of golf in Kenya which has continued to nurture golf talent and contribute to the development of the sport over the years," said Steve Okeyo, the Commercial Director of Bamburi Cement.
He said the championships have improved the standards of golf in the country and provided a competitive tournament platform for both professionals and amateurs.
During the tour, professionals will undertake free coaching clinics for amateurs at the Karen Country Club to help them improve their game.
"Our objective is to continue to grow this tournament to a level where it will attract top regional and continental architects to Kenya hence promoting Kenya as a destination for golf tourism," said Arch Emma Miloyo, the Chairperson of AAK Architects Chapter, who was flanked by the Vice Chairperson, Arch Gad Opiyo.
