Avoid " Rest in Peace Vodka" Nairobi residents warned

Nairobi - Residents of Nairobi County have been warned about consuming liquor going by the name Rest in Peace Vodka.
The Vodka has been in circulation in the city and is produced by Left and Gone Company LTD based in Dandora Nairobi.
The County Liquor Licensing Board has called on Nairobians to shun the drink which might be circulation as it is not licensed.
Chairman of the Board Vincent Shimoli called the liquor illegal and warned the public that it might be lethal.
" Such people are out to hurt Kenyans. One such is Rest in Peace, which we have already spoken to the Police and relevant authorities about," he said in Kibera Friday.
He also confirmed that Nairobi is top of the list in as far as consumption of such liquor is concerned.
" We have to be careful as members of the public and be sure that we are consuming the right things," he added.
In the last one year, it is estimated that close to 700 people have died in the country through effects related to illegal alcohol consumption.
