Nairobi - The artist famed for his tracks ‘Asusu’ and ‘Sari Sari’ is back once more
with a song that will have you dancing for the lord.
The new track titled
‘Kereka’ comes after a long period of silence from DK,
and its reception has without a doubt been good. The gospel superstar shows us
his mettle in this new track and video with his characteristic strong beat and
The song is based upon a verse in the bible which says “Love
your Enemies that you may be sons of your father in heaven” (Mathew 5:44-45).
It has a strong message that promotes love among us all and asks us to stop the
hate and love our enemies.
The word Kereka means “To talk behind ones back”,
and the song speaks directly to those people who always talk and try to pull down
people around them.
In the song, DK says people will always talk badly about
you, whether you are down or on the rise but you must always keep the faith and
keep doing your best.
