Armed robbers hit jackpot

The son of a well established business tycoon in Meru John Kabiti was yesterday taken hostage by three gunmen at gun point as he entered his resident home in Mworoka village, Mpuri location.
The victim known as Moses was taken to his business premises in Kithaku market and ordered to open his shop as the gunmen emptied his cash drawers and took off with a large amount of money,however he managed managed to escape unhurt after they took the cash.
This is the third incident of armed robbery to be reported this week,and the residents of that area are concerned with rising insecurity.The police are still carrying out investigation to ensure they are arrested.
