I'm not a Jubilee mole, says Namwamba

Mombasa - Budalangi Member of Parliament, Ababu Namwamba has refuted claims that he was used by the Jubilee side to sabotage the ODM party elections.
Namwamba said those who are speculating rumors about him should desist and focus of issues of developing the party.
“I am not a Jubilee mole. Those who associate me with Jubilee should stop completely," said Namwamba.
Namwamba, who was addressing ODM delegates in Mombasa on Wednesday afternoon, said it was time that ODM party got new leaders.
“I ask our delegates to look for the best people in the party leadership. Let's protect our party,” said Namwamba.
He said that ODM has lost the previous elections due to poor leadership especially in the grassroots level.
He expressed optimism that ODM party will win the presidency in the coming general elections.
The legislator said he was ready to change the party operations once he clinches the post of a Secretary General in the coming national delegates elections to be held on February 28, 2014.
Namwamba called on all the party delegates to embrace democracy in the coming elections.
“We do not want nominations; we want elections. This is just a practice match. We are all players in the same team; let’s look for the best,” he added.
Namwamba has vowed so support Mombasa governor, Hassan Ali Joho for the post of deputy party leader. Other leaders contesting for the Secretary General post are the; nominated senators Agnes Zani, Elizabeth Ongoro and Larieda MP Lucas Gumbo.
