Nairobi - George Aladwa has been moved to 4 different Police Stations before finally being booked for hate speech at the Kamukunji Police Station.
The former Nairobi Mayor and current Nairobi ODM Branch Chairman was arrested early Friday by Flying Squad officers who initially took him to the Kilimani Police Station.
However, with a large crowd forming at the premises, Police were forced to move him to the CID headquarters and then the Ruaraka Police station before he was finally booked at Kamukunji.
He was booked for hate speech and it is likely he will spend some jail time before being sent to court to answer over the charges.
Aladwa is allegedly accused of saying that in the 2017 General Elections, there will be tears and people will die if CORD leader Raila Odinga does not win the election.
He has however said that there will be tears of joy and people will also die of happiness if Raila wins the elections.
It is likely that he will be released on bail when he is presented in court.
