Akasha sons out on KES 5 million bond

Mombasa - Two sons of slain drug baron, Ibrahim Akasha and two other suspects nabbed in November over drug trafficking have been released on a bond of KES 5 million each.
However, the court has directed that six conditions be met before the four can leave police custody.
First, the suspects need to provide evidence that they are Kenyan nationals.
Secondly, each has to post a bond of KES 5 million with the court and 3 sureties.

Thirdly, they are expected to surrender their passports to the investigating officer.
Fourthly, they are not allowed to leave the jurisdiction of the court without the knowledge of the investigating officer and lastly, they should report to the investigating officer every Friday at 10.00 am.
