Airplane from Tanzania to Kenya goes missing

Nairobi - An airplane with three people on board, flying from Tanzania to Kenya has gone missing, authorities have confirmed.
The Fokker 27 plane, registration 5YSXP, operated by Safari Express Limited
left Mwanza Airport in Tanzania on Sunday at 4.26pm headed for Magadi but did not arrive at its destination.
The Kenya Airports Police Unit KAPU boss Joseph Ole Tito confirmed Monday that the plane had indeed been lost and said search efforts are underway.
" The plane disappeared and we are looking fir it as we speak, he said Monday.
He said that the Kenya Police Air-wing had dispatched a helicopter to search for the missing plane.
The plane belongs to Safari Express LTD. The company was yet to make a statement on the matter, the whereabouts and persons on board.
