Actress dies in grisly accident along Nairobi's eastern bypass

Nairobi - Actress Nana Gichuru has died in a horrific road accident along Nairobi's eastern bypass in a head on collision with a lorry.
Gichuru was well known for her screen play in programmes such as Tahidi High on Citizen TV, Sumu La Penzi on DSTV's Maisha Magic and several movies.
She was also a well known photographer and poet.
She died on the spot Tuesday morning after her BMW convertible rammed head on into a lorry in Utawala along the eastern bypass.
Images of her crushed vehicle sent emotions over the roof for may of her fans.
It is understood that she was over-speeding when the accident occurred.
Her fans came out on her Facebook page to offer their messages of condolences.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
