Nakuru - Webuye East Member of Parliament, Alfred Sambu has asked Budalangi Member of Parliament, Ababu Namwamba to join forces with UDF leader Musalia Mudavadi as one way of solidifying the western Kenya voting bloc.
Sambu told Ababu that he has no political future in ODM and asked him to prepare for a rude shock in 2017 should he stick to ODM.
Speaking Monday afternoon after a UDF governing council meeting in Nakuru town, Sambu said that western Kenya will only register their political influence in the country if they unite under one roof.
“I want to tell my brother Ababu that he is most welcome in UDF because rumuor has it that he is on his way out and I want to tell him that UDF is ready to receive him because that is where he belongs. Let him come and work with Mudavadi in uniting western people under the UDF party,” said Sambu.

Sambu added that western Kenya was tired of being used and dumped politically saying that those eyeing votes from the region will be in for a rude shock in 2017.
“In 2017, western Kenya will have its own presidential candidate and those who think there are votes to grab will be shocked because we are in serious talks with other leaders and regions and we will have a big surprise in 2017,” he added.
