Nairobi - Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba will join CORD leader Raila Odinga in signature collection for the Okoa Kenya referendum in Western Kenya.
The two have been at cross purposes in recent months and Ababu has even on a number of occasions hit out at Raila and his leadership of the Orange Democratic Movement ODM.
But in a move that is seen as a step in the right direction for the duo, they will both lead the Okoa Kenya campaign signature collection launch in Budalangi Saturday.

Raila last month promised that there would be fresh elections in ODM before the end of the year, a bone of contention for Ababu and his team.
The signature collection exercise has also kicked up pace in recent days, with the team saying that it is not past the 1.5 million mark, though they are only known to need 1 million signatures as prescribed by the constitution.
