5 things never to ask a woman on the first date

Nairobi - So there are things never to ask a woman on a first date. Ever!
Can I cook? Do I cook?
This one is very degrading. Unless I brought myself to your
house for a date, you cannot ask that. It gives the impression of what you
think are the proper roles in a relationship. It gives the impression of you
checking to see if I can fulfill your standards of what a woman should do.’ Can
I walk barefoot and pregnant in your kitchen while whipping something for you
to eat too?’
How much I earn
I can ask you that, but you can’t ask me that. I will only
ask like on the third date but not first. Not because I am being mercenary but
because some of you are very sneaky and I need to know how you are paying for
my dates. Some of you are always up to no good even with the ‘jobs’ you hold.
It is on a need to know. I should volunteer the information
myself because I like you. If I do not like you, I will most definitely not
tell you anything. The first date is about establishing what the both of us
like and if we like each other. Personal information, the child or children,
comes after we have established that.
What my mouth can do
As an African woman, I cannot tell you the number of times a
man just stops and stares at your mouth because he is thinking very nefarious
thoughts. Do I feel negative about it? No, because I like my mouth. You cannot
ask what it does though neither can you stare at it. Keep that to like the
second year of our anniversary because you have earned it.
How much food I put away
Believe it or not, some people were raised by apes and they
behave like them too. If you asked her out on a date that means you cannot ask
her about her weight; you should have just left her alone if she was not your
right size. It is that simple. If we are out, I am not going to eat a salad but
I will actually eat because you are paying!
