5 signs he is husband material

30 September 2015, 13:54 Shakila Alivitsa

Nairobi - Is he the one for you? Here's ways to know.

He always puts your needs first

No matter what, he always does. In today’s relationships a lot more men are asking for equal footing in a relationship, in EVERYTHING because we said we wanted equality. It takes a really good man to understand you as his women and not bring any bias issues in your relationship. It takes a really good man to look out for your needs and those of your children then consider himself. If you have that and get that on a daily basis then roll with it before another women sees this and takes it away from you

Even when he is upset, he is sure to make you feel okay

A lot of us have a partner that when they are angry we either a. stay out of their way because they really scare us or b. stay out of their way because they just become somebody else that we do not want to deal with. If your partner does not do any of the above and even while confronting him he is just calm and not getting out of control: saying mean things and lashing out at you then that is a person whom you should give an ear to because they deserve it.

He stands up for you

Not all partners stand up for their women. In fact when it comes to it most think it is ‘manly’ when they stay out of it; if you get into a bar brawl that is absolutely right. But when he stands up for you against his family, friends, colleagues and associates when they pick on you; then you have got yourself a keeper.

He is there for you in your bad times

We all wish for that but we all do not get that. We all assume that we have that but we don’t. We are with our partners but at times we tend to overlook the things that really matter. The point is, if you have that, appreciate it. Do not take it for granted. Do not make your partner sweat over little things when they provide you with the larger picture. You have a keeper if they have been there for you in the celebration and in the sorrowful times.

He includes you in whatever is going on in his life

Adventure, hobbies, travel, day to day, home, work  and just basically everything. You do not need any other sign that he wants you in his life because he is letting you in everyday through his actions. You do not have to fight for it like most women have to.
