5 reasons to talk about sex

07 March 2016, 19:24 Shakila Alivitsa

Nairobi - 5 reasons to speak about sex with your partner.

Do not discuss your sexual history or sex past

The only thing you should discuss in that category is your sexual health-obviously. If you do not talk or ask someone about their history because you are too afraid, then it is never in your place to blame them for getting you with anything. Just like you were avoiding bringing it up; they were avoiding to let you know. Thusly, it is your fault.

Are you exclusive?

A lot of people avoid the exclusivity talk until after sex because they are hoping to change someone’s mind with their sexual prowess. So, while you are praying that they are seeing how good you are and they will give you the title; they are also testing other people’s waters. In other words, you are dipping your hands in a pot that other people are also dipping their hands in. Make sure you are exclusive to prevent complications; not just diseases but have you ever heard of three women falling pregnant by one man at the same time? Now you get it.

Balancing your preferences

Some people like it in the morning; others don’t like to be rushed. Some people like it an night because it is relaxing after a long day and believe it or not some people would be perfectly fine with it once a week.  Find a partner that compliments your preferences-you avoid cheating and complaints that way.

What you like and what you cannot stomach

Sex…good sex is just communication. That is all. If someone is not agreeing with you; that is why they are not the only fish in the say because at the end of the day, who wants to deal with cheating due to dissatisfaction?

How you will approach tedium

Sex will not always be fun if you let routine take over. That is why for some they sulk, don’t speak, and complain because they do not want to approach the problem head on. If one of you notices it first, take care of it unless you are ready to lose the whole relationship as well.
