4 types of men women hate
12 February 2015, 19:02
Nairobi - It is a tried and tested theory that has always proven true:
women settle. They can choose the best in everything else but when it comes to
relationships, a woman would rather settle rather than be alone. Most do but
not all, the proof is in the ‘pudding’ or so to speak.
When it comes to the man whom we end up with as the husband,
there are some things you should never compromise on though.
If he has yet to leave the nest
Also called being mommy’s. They say the best way you can
tell if a man will be good to you, you should watch how he treats his mother
and sister. I can assure you that is not always the case. Do not put yourself
in a situation hoping he will treat you differently than now because he treats
There is a reason why our mothers warned us about the
mommy’s boy, she comes first always, you- second. In decisions, anything to do
with the household, all of it. You will always come second. It can will be
frustrating when you realize a decision was made because; mommy knows best.
Has no steady job
In a marriage where you are planning to have children, who
will take care of them when neither of you is capable because you figured that
you should support the talent. It is okay to support a talent but only if that
other person is good at it and you can actually see the results.
Currently in Kenya we have musicians like Elani, Nameless,
Wahu and many more who have double professional lives. But that is because they
are good at both and their talent can support them. If a man cannot help support
you then that leads to frustrating times ahead with why did I marry him
An Adrenaline Junkie
Having a partner who is open-minded and carefree is good but
it can also be bad. One minute they are jumping off airplanes, the next they
are bungee jumping off a cliff, you just never know when you are going to be
widowed with your brood of children.
He is the man of the people
You know that man who is always buying everyone else yet no
one ever buys him any. He is the one that spends his salary once at the local
and bemoans it the next weekend. We all know those ones. If you cheat yourself
that once the kids come along he will change, it never happens. He will always
be the man of the people.
