4 things women should never do
22 April 2016, 01:00
Nairobi - Two plus two can indeed give you eleven. The following
article is obviously dedicated to the ladies because I think either you have
bad friends that will not tell you or your friends are afraid of you so they do
not want to tell you.
You cannot have an
expensive weave on but show tattered underwear
Since we are talking about grooming, you know we had to put
this one here. Having neat hair is obviously important. Obviously your purse
dictates the style that you may have and because we are now in the rainy season
a lot of protective styling is being used by the ladies.
Ladies do not know that there are many things that sell them
out. Why am I saying don’t do expensive weave but have torn underwear? Because
when you bend just about to leave a matatu,
it shows. You know that look everyone gives you when you enter the matatu and
everybody is respectfully nodding because you have come in looking nice. Either
make sure your panties don’t show or just invest in really nice ones because
these mishaps happen and they embarrass you. If you have a weave worth 10k on
your head, you better look groomed head to toe- no chipped nails, badly done
make-up or dusty feet. You are either well kempt or make bad investment
Don’t put on makeup
if you do not know how to put on make up
The other day I was in a matatu and minding my business.
Then you know that moment you feel the hair rise on the back of your neck so
you know someone is looking at you and you start looking for them? So now I am
not minding my business. I see this woman looking at me. She was also the type
that does not blush when they are caught staring but continues to stare. At
this point I am not sure what we are doing so I am also staring and I noticed
her winged eyeliner was not done properly. It was like a child was given a
crayon to play with it on her eyelids. If she was trying to throw shade, she
failed because now I wanted to tell her she needed to learn how to do her
Make up is not a bad thing but ladies, do learn how to do
make up before you put it on your face.
As much as it can make you look good, it can make you look
worse as well. Nairobi women do not know
how to put on blush, don’t do it. You walking around with two large pink
circles on your cheeks is not a good look. Just do foundation and leave it at
that until you learn.
Don’t wear perfume
and leave out roll on
How can you invest in perfume and not own roll on? You
cannot mask sweat. No matter how much you pour over yourself. You would rather
but a nice roll on and leave out the perfume. Trust me.
A proper manicure
with bad hair never works
You can’t have properly done nails but chipped toenails and
bad hair. You would rather just trim the nails and leave them at that but you
can never go anywhere with bad hair. Those are poor investment decisions. If
you can smell your hair, so will the next person. If you can smell it, they can
smell it. Invest in remover. If your nails chip, remove it. Trim bare nails get
more credit than long unkempt ones.
