4 things I would never do for a man
24 February 2016, 13:02
Nairobi - I bet you a hundred shillings an African Feminist clicked
thinking I was talking about washing and cleaning and she was ready to
contribute (I would be so rich…Smh). There is nothing wrong with being a
feminist but like I always say, don’t take a bite if you cannot chew. Feminism
still confuses African women, it confuses me too. What can I tell my man to do
and what can I not tell my man not to do?
Changing your appearance
I fell in love…sorry, I have a crush on someone and I almost
thinking what does this man so that I can do it? I even stalked him on Social
media (makes it so easy) then I stalked his women but by the time I was done I
was just like, I am done. By the way, Kenyan ladies, there are so many good men
you can find in Kenya you just have to look. Back to me, I was almost like what
more can I do to make this man like me until my ego kicked me and I was back to
There is not much you can change about yourself to make a
man like you; especially if he already knew about your former self. What
changing does is that it only exposes your former self and your insecurity
issues-that makes you a turn off for whoever you want. If he does not like you
the way you are, he will not like you after the changes. Accept that.
Have a baby (-ies)
Just never do this one to try prove to some that you love
him it never works and it leaves you with is regret. No child deserves that. A
man will respect you before the child not after. A man will love you before the
child not after.
Lower her standards
So many women do this and they always do it for the wrong
commodity. The never do it for the right person and all in efforts to
compensate within the relationship. Lower your standards and no matter how up standard
the man is, he will match you; not try to elevate them.
Allow him to control
