4 signs he might be a good parent

Nairobi - What are the signs of a good parent?
They think of the consequences before acting
They just don’t rush into anything but are willing to take a step back from any situation and think of what their actions might cause. What this means is that before they do anything rash or make a decision; they will think of you and the child first and how it will affect you. They just do not think of themselves alone and deal with the aftermath after it has caused harm.
Efficiency in crisis
Children=Crisis generally; for everyday of your life. They get sick when you are asleep, they tend to wander off while you put something in a cart, they pull boiling stuff from the stove while you turn around for a second and when they are teenagers, they tend to do things that might get them arrested or dead. When you decide to reproduce, your life is no longer yours; just so you know. You need a partner that is able to deal even in the toughest times. It is allowed that at times you might not be able to, so when you break down they can take over. A good parenting partner is someone who can handle dealing with your children when you step out for a minute or a week.
A partner who is open minded
Someone who is willing to bend a little because they are willing to look at why you are suggesting something; they are willing to consider your opinion without being close-minded on what they would rather choose. The decisions you make with a partner you have a child with; are no longer about the two of you only but they affect the child/children. You might have like a posh school; but hey, you have four or five so technically you cannot afford it. You settle for another better option. You want to live in a certain estate or apartment but it seems they are not safe for kids, so you opt out of the posh interiors for a safer neighbourhood.
A person you can laugh with at the end of the day
Someone can be grim, responsible and reliable but they should be able to laugh with you after the crisis is over. That is always comforting and appealing. Like I have already mentioned, after you give birth, your life is no longer yours. You would rather spend those 18 years with someone you actually like spending time with after it is all said and done.
