35-year old man rapes a 4-year old girl

18 March 2013, 16:54Cheruo Levi Cheptora

A man at his 30's defiled a 4-year old child in Cheptais market in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

Known by the name Omari, the culprit did this inhumane act to a young innocent angel.

Reports that reached the area Police Post said that no sooner had the beast descended on the child, than the child fell unconscious!

The man himself presented to the police station and escaped the wrath of the residents.

Speaking at the police station, OCS Cheptais told angry residents, mostly women, to calm down as the matter is taken seriously.

"It is a serious offence under laws of Kenya and the culprit is appearing in court tomorrow. The hand of law will do its work," said the police boss.

The child has been taken to Cheptais Sub-District Hospital for medication.
