30 witnesses offer to testify against Pastor Ng'ang'a

Nairobi - 30 people will testify against Neno Evangelism Centre's Pastor James Ng'ang'a over the killing of a woman in an accident in Limuru.
Pastor Ng'ang'a has been charged alongside three others with the death of Mercy Njeri who died in a road crash in Manguo, Limuru July 26.
" Ng’ang’a, in a Range Rover vehicle with
registration number KCD 060Q, drove dangerously, disregarding all the
circumstances, including the condition of the road and the amount of
traffic and caused the death of Njeri and was freed on a KES 1 million
bond, " his charge sheet reads.
Ng'ang'a is also charged with trying to bribe his way out of the case by using his influence to change the statements regarding the crash.
The case continued Tuesday as the Prosecution also accused Ng'ang'a of lying that he was not the driver of the vehicle while indeed he was.
Christopher Nzilu and Patrick Baya, who are police officers, as well as Simon Kuria, who is accused of aiding an attempted cover-up are his co- accused in the case.
If found guilty, Ng'ang;a could serve a jail term of as much as 20 years for the above named offences.
