Baringo - The Jubilee party has started facing rebellion and defections within the rift valley region after more than 30 MCAs from Baringo County ditched the party on Wednesday and crossed over to Kanu.
The MCAs cited lack of transparency and democracy in the Jubilee party as their main reason for decamping to the Independence party.
“The Jubilee party has no future and there is no democracy in the party as it is being said and this has prompted our departure from the party,” said Daniel Tuwit, the Ripko ward MCA.
