3 ways to ruin your sex life

26 August 2015, 15:35 Shakila Alivitsa

Nairobi - How easy is it to ruin your sex life?

No effort at all

It is okay to wake up at times and not want to do anything. Just sleep, watch whatever or read whatever eat and stay in bed the whole day. Then you remember you like the good things in life. You wake up, go to work and get paid. That is sort of how it works with sex too. You do not want to put that much into it but lazy around, but you remember you like having good sex. So you make an effort towards that. For the most part; for some of us that is.

No effort is: not caring what your partner likes, not knowing what you like, doing the same things all night every night and repeating 365….no scratch that, 40-60 times a year in the same bed and in the same position.

Pleasing everyone simultaneously

Did you ever wonder why married people are said to have the more sex than single people and it is probably better too. It is because they are with that one partner; hopefully if they are both faithful. They know each other’s tastes. They have already had the arguments on how the other person always messes things up. They have seen each other’s ugly mole in the worst placements.

Now, you on the other hand have either a couple of friend’s with benefits. Always have a couple of one night stands. Or you just have a string of attachments. Now you not only can’t enjoy it because you are worried about health factors, you can never be comfortable with a new body every damn time. You have to marry where their mouth has been and if you want your mouth anywhere around them e.t.c.

You are just not free enough with your partner to have good sex.

Being textbook

No one can give you better sex advice than yourself. Let me explain. Therapy is good or aunt someone. Cosmopolitan, not so much but no one will know your body better than you and how well to please it. If you are trying to remember what some book said while at it, you have already failed. At times it is just better to go with the flow like those exams you had not read for but still got a mark for knowing your name. You were just so damn happy after that exam because that was the most stupid thing you had ever done.
