3 types of people to avoid in relationships

25 August 2015, 18:29 Shakila Alivitsa

Nairobi - When you meet them, you quickly know you should run.

You don’t have to make someone else a part of it

Always bitter after a break-up

Maybe it is one relationship, two relationships or all your relationships. Instead of doing what a normal person does and moving on; you decide to carry it around with you and become this ticking time bomb that someone has to deal with. You need to learn how to move on from bad experiences so that when a good experience is right before you can see it and not doubt it for what it is.

You are the victim. Why can’t they see that?

There is enough blame to go around for everyone but you cannot share in it. You are always right. You have always done the correct thing by everyone. Your mother is against you. Your father is against you. Your boyfriend or girlfriend is against you and they are siding with them and not supporting you. The government is against you. Even the sun seems to shine harder on your forehead and not everybody else’s.

Maybe yes, all the above is true and none of these people have ever done right by you. But you also need to learn to move on and let go of some things so that they can handle themselves. If you learn to do that, you will get a partner who will eventually be on your side.

Never having dealt with your past issues

They constantly crop up and the worst part is, you choose to make your partner a part of it by blaming them. The worst part is when you cannot take a hard look at yourself and see where you keep going wrong. So you jump ne ship to the next creating havoc every place you have ever been. Always carrying the same problems with you.
