3 things ladies get wrong with their men

23 September 2015, 17:31 Shakila Alivitsa

Nairobi - Ladies are at times wrong when it comes to their men. Most. These are 3 common mistakes made.

You are betraying your partner

Be honest, when you are relating a problem within your relationship or marriage, it is not you outlining the better qualities that your partner has but quite the opposite. In your anger you are throwing stones at your partner which you come to regret later. Truth is, it is already out there. So no matter how much you say you take it back, you cannot take back the fact that you have just blackened them to these people who do not really matter when it comes to your relationship. Do not betray your partner’s trust on smaller issues when you can solve them just the two of you. If it is the bigger issues, you would rather even o to a therapist or just a completely outside party that is not related to you in any way.

There’s always going to be sides to be picked

It is always hard to say you were looking for someone who would be objective and in the end they end up choosing your side because they do not want to annoy you or make you angry at them. Every person who tells other people their issues does not want to come out looking as the evil twin. Your words are saying one thing but your demeanor is saying something else. In the end, you now have three or more people siding with you and aggravating your partner in the process because they are not being heard. That is why issues taken to outside parties without the other partner’s consent are rarely resolved amicably.

Marriage/ Relationships thrive when there is unity between both parties, you have just destroyed it

It may not be a fairy tale situation but try and at least try to keep a small issue small. Everyone likes drama and when you blow things out of proportion, they jump on it to make it even bigger. When you want to solve something, act like it and present the facts like it. If you are aiming to destroy it them by all means, make the other person look like they are horrible.
