3 reasons succesful couples do well

15 March 2016, 20:12 Shaklil Alivitsa

Nairobi - You wonder why successful couples do well. Here are three reasons why.

They share in the things that they do

I would mention the Kiunas but then again I could also mention Victor Peace and his girlfriend Cece Sagini. Let me mention the young couple so that they can encourage the other young couples. Most couples have walls from each other. Boundaries and walls are two completely different things. Boundaries are about personal space and what each of you need for a healthy relationship. Walls help people have secrets against each other and do things behind someone’s back. It gets to a point it enables someone in having a completely different life from their partner.

The aforementioned couple share in each other’s lives; even in work. They just know what the other person is working on and how they can be a part of it. I am not saying for people to be intrusive but that shows interest from the other person. That way when you are talking about your day, you do not have to worry someone is not following because they understand and they actually do get it.

They support each other

Don’t be in a relationship with someone who does not support what you do or who you are. Someone who supports your work will be someone you look forward to telling your problems or asking for help because you will not always be able to do it on your own. They will be people you will be happy to invite to come along for your own thing because you know they are not looking for ways to tell you how you could have done better. Or they sulk the whole time because it is not their type of thing.

They find contentment in each other

Nothing will break you more than going down the line and asking yourself, ‘what if you could have done better.’

Always choose your dates and relationships wisely; you will never end up in a relationship with the wrong person asking yourself what if. If you are not content with the person you are with and telling yourself how you could do better, you will not be happy at all. You will always looking back.
